Safe Home Assistant

Women’s Resource Center of Northern Michigan is seeking a Safe Home Assistant for domestic abuse and sexual assault Safe Home. Responsibilities include assisting with shelter operations and upkeep, staffing Help and Information phone line, coordinating activities for children, and assisting families in the shelter. Candidate must be comfortable working with groups of people and able to respond to families in crisis. Education in a field related to human services and specific training and/or experience in direct service to individuals and families is preferred.
