Manufacturing Technician

And we're looking for a Polyurethane Manufacturing Technician to join our team. The focus of this position centers around the careful, deliberate, imaginative and serious undertaking of defined work. The job requires an ability to deal in a systematic and patient way with technical information and processes, as well as an ability to focus directly on the knowledge base required for the task. This position also successfully requires focus on the immediate work to be done with a disciplined, conscientious, hands-on approach. Getting it ‘done right’, with no mistakes is key to the position, although we understand in order to learn, mistakes may be made. Your primary goal will be to learn to pour and package a variety of mold tables to internal specifications.This is a full-time, year-round role. Duties and Responsibilities
- Hand pour/ Machine dispense 2 part polyurethane into mold cavities
- Light duty metal fabrication work
- Basic woodworking skills
- Comfortable with basic hand tools
- Operator overhead crane
- Operator forklifts

- Work well on a team, and know how to pitch in when things need to get done; you know how to take and give feedback to improve team dynamics
- Pay attention to detail, and anticipate problems before they become major issues
- Work smart, efficiently, and safely
- Know your way around most simple hand tools for woodworking, grinding etc.
- Can move between different tasks easily, and prioritize most from least important
- Work with purpose/hustle under deadline
